We built “For Every Era” around a relatable insight- learning a new hobby is always better with someone who knows what they’re doing. So we created a story that follows one character as the Kakoo app reminds her of the phases she’s been through- the hobbies she nailed, the ones she didn’t and the new ones she’s excited to try.

To keep production fast and efficient, we shot everything in a single home location. Each “era” was created through lighting, wardrobe and finding interesting spaces within the home, turning one location into multiple worlds. This gave the film personality, variety and a fun visual language.

We also built holograms of each character by filming each talent on a green screen turn table. Using VFX, we made the Kakoo profiles feel like they were popping into the real world, giving a playful, futuristic preview of potential connections.

By mixing natural, in-scene dialogue with voiceover, we kept the tone friendly and relatable while clearly communicating what Kakoo does: It connects you with the right people to learn new things and enjoy the journey.
